BendPak Announces QuickJack® Patent Infringement Settlement with VEVOR

AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Leading vehicle lift and shop equipment manufacturer BendPak Inc. announced the settlement of its lawsuit against VEVOR Technology, LLC and VEVOR Store, LLC (VEVOR), successfully protecting the patents related to its popular QuickJack® portable car lifts. While the specific terms of the agreement are confidential, they are favorable to BendPak, and company leadership is satisfied with the outcome.

BendPak filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in July 2025 to defend four patents covering QuickJack’s distinctive frame-engaging parallelogram design. VEVOR denies infringement. With the settlement, which includes no admission of liability by VEVOR, the case was dismissed.

“This is a significant win not just for BendPak, but also for consumers who may not fully recognize key manufacturing and safety differences between our original lifts and those that copy our designs,” says Jeff Kritzer, BendPak president and CEO. “Just because a lift looks like a QuickJack doesn’t mean it performs like a QuickJack.”

BendPak invented QuickJack more than 10 years ago. Originally designed for racetrack use, it quickly became a bestseller for residential, detailing and mobile repair applications. All QuickJack 5000 through 8000 Series lifts are independently tested and ALI Certified to meet the ANSI/ALI ALCTV national lift safety and performance standard. VEVOR lifts are not.

“We make substantial investments in innovative designs that improve safety, efficiency and productivity in professional shops and home garages, and we rigorously protect our intellectual property,” Kritzer says. “This serves as notice to any company or individual considering copying our patented designs — we will defend what we’ve built.”
